A day trip to colmar
stephanie and i decided to take a 45 minute train ride to colmar france from strasbourg. there was some great shopping, food, and wine. colmar is where the statue of librty was built. the town has a bit more of a german feel and is the home to flambe and fois gras. both were excellent! wedenesday we head back to colmar ...
Busy busy busy
... appreciated when we were on the train and I said I would stay awake and then passed out cold 10 minutes later. Woops! I Doctored her up with emergenC, an adjustment and loads of vitamin d. I made sure we all did!! Well currently I am the only one awake and I have 2 snoring peeps in the room. Tomorrow we are checking out the spa and surrounding areas. I cannot wait!! Good night! ... little village type centre and parts of the old walls and gateways remain. As you walk along the walls there are a series of sandstone carving set into the wall depicting local scenes. I have since discovered that the place is well known locally for having one of Europe's largest wine cellars - maybe just as well that I didn't know that at the time!!!
