We traveled from Metz to Nancy France in the morning and did a quick tour of the nice old areas of the city- Stanislaus Square was very impressive with it's gold trim, nice fountains and Arc De Triumphe. Jean-Claude was incredibly charming, and even made information about wheat and corn production in the Alsace Region seem interesting. ... we no longer end up with food for a family of ten, and local white wines are in the fridge to make lunch and dinner even more delightful. Between the wine, cheese, croissants, and desserts, we'll have to see if we can purchase new clothes (France pants?) with elastic waistbands.
