... day and we had limited bags, so decided to walk to the hotel and see the sights before we checked in. It is very hard to miss the Chateau of the Ducs du Bretagne and we circled this. It is beautiful, with the moat and drawbridge still in place. But a Chateau in the middle of the town was quite fantastic!

There were lots of windy, cobblestone streets with alfresco eating places everywhere! What did surprise me ...

Great camp site. Peaceful setting. On the bike for supermarche shop for essentials - cheese, pâté, wine and stuff. Just done 20 lengths of the pool. Not as warm as Baringo and considerably less ambience! Nice long evenings as French don't do our messing around with clocks. Perhaps we can be sensible if ...

Mid morning we left and headed for Pornichet - a major seaside resort with good train and bus connections to places we want to visit.
