As a hotel guest, they give me ticket for free travelling around the city. The city separated by the lake. Almost every shops selling watches. I don't understand why people buy expensive watch which the same value to buy a car. can any one tell me?.
Afetr been working for a whole year, sacrificing family time and my own, the time has come to make a stop at my vacations. Every year, I look for something to make my family remember when we are on vacations.
This year, my mother-in-law wanted to ...
I am actually surprised that I am not writing this from the library, which is where I now spend all of my days trying to write my ISP (independent study project). My marriage to the library is why I didn't write last week, because I didn't have anything too exciting to report. It's actually pretty cool, I have my own desk in the "Law and Politics Reading Room" at the United Nations Library which overlooks the UN grounds, the lake, and ...
Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland chelseyineurope... system of that building than I would have ever thought (or wanted to for that matter), we headed back in towards the main part of the city.
Our next stop was the Philip Patek Watch museum, because you can’t go to Geneva without looking at some watches. At first, I thought they’d have a sweet gift shop, and I was willing to splurge to get a nice watch there, even if I knew that my “splurge” meant the crappiest watch ...
... the hotel its just on the border of france and switzerland and its minging basic travel lodge type hotel with nothing at all to do in the area. Ferney-Voltaire, Rhône-Alpes, France traceybelleFrom there we went to Geneva to meet up with Conor and Diane. Since we got there so early, Jon and I started touring the city and randomly ran into them, and Conor’s parents, at the UN building. So we toured the city with them, went to the biggest flee market selling all sorts of random sutff (mostly garbage). WE also ...
Bon Nuit!
Jour 4:
La TGV etait grand! Je l'ai ...
... ANYWAY for the rest of the day, we were engrossed in the Mac Games (aka Mandatory fun day). hahaha we got broken up into groups and did a bunch of activities, including a tennis ball hop, various relays, etc. it was EXACTLY like summer camp... haha it was quite amusing. My team strategized pretty well overall, and I was able to showcase a bit of my hula hoop skills (-_-) for the benefit of my team (shaved off 3 secs for ...
Talloires, Rhône-Alpes, France alicetin... Anyhow, my recommendation, for what it's worth is DON'T, and curried fondue is not something I am ever likely to try again. Heavy enamelled iron pots are brought out filled with the bubbling cheeses (traditionally in this region gruyere and vacherin) and we tear our bread into pieces, place them on our skewers, and vigorously stir them in the fondue. Our champagne and bolet fondue is fantastic and we have to beat off the others as they keep trying to pinch some of it. We drink local Swiss ...
Geneva, Switzerland everardt... bull Autostrade, and the views out from behind the sterile freeway walls was truly gorgeous. I delivered the car on time, at the airport, and took the first train back to the city for my connection into the mountains. Strangely, when the train stopped one stop before the main station in Torino, everyone else but me dismounted. Moments later, though, my patience was rewarded with a jerk and we were on our way again. For about 30 metres, where we stopped and the power in ...
