... Ferrand without any U turns, just need to get her behind the wheel next

Went for a walk to the old part of Orcet this morning, lots of narrow winding streets no wider than a small car, really quirky with a large church in the centre. Took the dogs for a walk down some leafy lanes, quote a nice stopover and the sunshine certainly helps. We hit Spain tomorrow as we continue South

Tonight we sampled the on site restaurant- si had a steak (looked like horse) and I had chicken- it was really nice and not doing dishes was even better! Back in the car, through a toll to pay for that bridge, and we were meandering along winding roads and beautiful countryside. There were gorgeous ...

After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool. After some much needed sunbathing we decided to have a game of tennis - Sue cheated of course! Sat in the shade now with cool beer ...

The Puy de Dome district is an area of extinct volcanoes in the southern part of France. We stayed at a village perched on the side of a rocky steep hillside called Saint Nectaire. It is famous for its certain types of cheese and they had a cheese shop there to try it.

The hotel we stayed at was owned by a Dutch guy and ...
