... there and are expected to purchase something. As well as masses of farm products they also have loads of wine from 3.50e upwards!!
We were glad we had electricity as the site is at about 1200m and it was very cold - when we woke up everything was white with frost - glittering in the sunlight ,with the valleys full of mist.

We got up in the morning and took the bus to the funicular. We took the other funicular this time to the Roman theatres and the museum. The museum had a lot of statues and a ton of huge stones with Roman writing on them. Also, there were many mosaics from the floors of houses used by the Romans. We were able to have a very nice sleep in this morning after a lovely evening dinner with our terrific host, Peter Joyce the owner of Le Pain de Sucre in Monistrol. Very very pretty hamlet in beautiful valley, with small church dating back to the12 century... Stunning views every where.
