Enjoying a relaxed day in the countryside at my brother's: I had breakfast, sat outside in the sun for a bit, had a shower, had lunch, went for a bike ride (2nd one this year, after about 5 years of not getting on a bike! I'd actually forgotten how to ride a bicycle...) in the deep countryside. Saw some geese, ducks, houses being built, lots and lots of trees and chestnuts on the ground. The sun was warm and the air was fresh. Perfect. But now my bum is a little sore.

... tussen 4 en 5 komen we op een boerderijcamping aan in het plaatsje Ordiarp. Deze ligt hoog op een berghelling. Het uitzicht is mooi maar de wolken laten niet alles zien. Diane meldt dat ze in de trein zit, ook haar fiets. Vandaag zijn we de 2000km grens gepasseerd. De teller staat op 2001 km.
Als alles goed gaat passeren we morgen de spaanse grens. Als we tenminste die eorme klim overleven.

So what happened during my week actually spent in Pau...
Oh! One day I went to a friend of theirs house and we played on Singstar....try singing a song you don't know in a language you don't speak!!!
But after that we went to go watch Captain America (in English, with French subtitles)....at the actual cinema I might add too - looks like a lot of the films are played in English!
