Sandy's French has come a long way
We stopped in Chablis today. After a drink we stopped to pick up some chicken to go in the soup for dinner. The butcher had some cuts, what is call "Maryland" in Australia. Sandy and Janet huddled and decided it would be better if it was skinned and chopped up. A few hand actions and some immaculate French and the butcher agreed. He chatted along, just like butchers in Oz.

today was a lovely day for a drive.
After a slow start, thanks to the curse of spring - les rhumes des foins - we drove to Irancy to try one or two wine caves, none appeared open. Thought we'd eat and then try again but the bar/restaurant was 'complet'. Their advice, go to Vincelles for a crepe. Which we did.
