... We tasted four wines. Between each wine they gave us some delicious ham bread to clean our palate. We stopped on the way back to take pictures of the vineyard.

... Believe it or not they assigned me a middle seat! The woman at the counter told me she couldn’t change it since it was a booked flight. ... in hand yelling to them to get away from our ham. We made it out alive but our romantic relaxing lunch quickly turned into an episode of 'I shouldn't be alive'. Our leftover ham became a sacrifice but it was worth it...just!

... knew it wasn't our error.

There were various significant buildings in Beaune that we could have toured and it apparently has one of the best Saturday markets but we got in too late to catch that and we didn't want to spend another day navigating its tourist-thronged streets so decided to move on after one night and find a place to stay in one of the small wine villages we had passed through. I had Meaursault on my mind.
