    However, it was not all about the shopping and we also visited the Old Bridge which took 30 years to build between 1305 and 1335. We also visited another lovely church call St Orens on the banks of the Tarn River.     The whole family then went for an afternoon walk where we took some Australia Day photos. This drew some interesting looks from a few of the locals, including the Mayor who came over for a chat and wished us a Happy Australia Day.

    Nathan was in the photography mood and went out tonight to get some 'show winners'. It was quite cold out but hopefully the photos he took will be worth it.

This was a great idea of his as we had no idea what some of the items were and we would never have brought them as we did not know how to prepare them anyway.     ... 2 May 1944 for their role in the Resistance. There is a monument to the three beside the town church. We have also been telling them the story of Nancy Wake 'the white mouse' a young Australian woman (born in New Zealand) who was the most highly decorated female of WW 2 and a driving force in the Resistance.
