... about a hidden gem. It had Roman ruins, an Art Gallery with Rodin sculptures among the many and an Auto Museum. They had a sculpture in every roundabout. It certainly was The Art Village. The only disappointment (aside from the cost of lunch-I don't know how anyone affords to live in Switzerland) was that the Ice Rink was closed. Dinner tonight at the American Dinner in town. It was a little different to last nights fancy affair, but nice just the ...

Just a few photos from the Ski holiday so far - won't bore you all with tales of daring red runs, lost snow chains (thankfully not this year, so far) or off piste escapades, but the attached photos are a way of sharing our holiday with family and friends ... ... was winter like, and in Chamonix it was in the 60's. The town of Chamonix reminded me of a ski town like any I have visited in the United States. There were a lot of ski related stores, and if we had time, I would have loved to ski down Mont Blanc.

After leaving the mountain, we had another 2 hour bus trip back to Geneva. The bus dropped us in an area across the city from our hotel. Most of us ...

Our day at Mont Blanc and Chamonix

We got up at a good time this day and took the tour bus to the French Alps to Mont Blanc to go see Aguille du Midi. This was an open day where we could all go off and see and take pictures of what we wanted. I think this was the first time that a lot of the students where ever up so high at such an altitude and all were very excited. We then met up later on to have lunch in the city of Chamonix which is the city at the base ...
