... 3.40 train to Milan. This is our last train of interrailing:( Can't say it's our favourite though, in fact it's probably the worst. The air conditioning consists of windows and the leather seats are not the nicest to sit on in the sweltering heat. Lucy thinks she is going to die, or she did until she fell asleep anyway. Emma's blond hair attracted some more strange Italian youths who wished her a 'goodbye princess' several times which woke her ...

Currently we are sat on the bus coming back to the hostel from sirmione. It had been suggested to us as one of the quieter beaches of Garda. Maybe the receptionist got the wrong end of the stick as it definitely wasn't a quiet area. However it was pretty and the water was a lot nicer than Peschiera, so we've decided to forgive him. ... the origin of the masons. On a sidewalk built by the masons you could see cut into one square the shape of two eyes. A sign that there was a Masonic temple there below ground. The guide mentioned the line of history of the masons even in the one dollar bill of the US. I was able to pull out a one dollar bill. My contribution to the Italian speaking group. Look at the top of the pyramid on the dollar bill and see a ...

... I decided to purchase my ticket for the opera and then my first seafood since our first night in Greece. As for the opera, what can I say. Fantastico! Stupendo!! You get the idea. Very unusual set design and a beautiful ballet to begin with the overture. Even understood some of the Italian and a spectacular ending with fireworks. An enthusiastic burst of applause from the audience. The only negative was the heat, otherwise ...
