Mon objectif : voir des tortues pondre sur la plage. On fait donc les 3 plages contiguës d'Itsamia. Ces dames pouvant prendre leur temps pour creuser les trous, il faut s'armer de patience et ne surtout pas les effrayer sinon elles retournent à l'eau illico.
Ce qui est intéressant, c'est que l'on peut voir ce phénomène toute l'année, mais s'il y a des périodes où l'on voit plus de tortues.

J'ai cru que je n'y arriverai pas, au moment d'enregistrer à l'aéroport, un groupe d'expatrié loue l'avion en entier et modifie le planning. Je devrai attendre toute la matinée avant que l'avion ne revienne.
L'avion n'est qu'un petit avion à hélice, mais cela à un avantage: on vole bas et donc on peut voir le lagon de Mayotte de près.
