... out on one of the loveliest flattest roads! Both still a bit sore, but loving it anyway!

Almost the whole way back and we heard a strong wind rushing noise, and looked up to see a couple of guys who'd just base jumped from Murren and were using the Flying Fox style suits to carve their way across the valley! The brother of the young guy had also made the hike up the hill, complete with his Backpack. It turned out that their Hostel was actually in Grun, so they headed back to the station for the short train ride there.

I had a walk through the main street in town, which seemed to be all shops and hotels. I eventually stopped at a small Bakery ...

... a night under a roof, rather than our wet tent, but it didn't end up being that much of a treat as staying in the tent cost almost as much. Indeed, we were talking with some Australians and since they had a car, which also has a charge if you are camping, it was cheaper for them to stay in the dorms there. Crazy. Also crazy was that absolutely everything had a pay as you go scheme, including hot water for dishes and even the power in the kitchen ...
