here just seems so relaxing. Not only is the coffee the best in Switzerland but
its such a peaceful location and so every time I come to visit this area I make
sure i head straight for this location.
Coffee drunk I head off along the road to take a few photos of the
waterfall above the town. Again I have been here on my motorcycle but like many
things I have found on this trip I have never ventured away from the road. Today

After the 10 hour drive from Paris we finally arrived at the stunning town of Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland at around 6. We had log cabins bunking 4 of us which was insulated nicely. Topdeck has a permanent tent set up to cook us up storms of yummy Swiss food. ... named for our hotel -- probably the other way around -- "Staubbach". "Bach" is I think the word for waterfall. "Staub" must be a family name for the hotel that was established in 1890. It has been nicely updated and very comfortable and welcoming. We will catch up on our sleep tonight and will try to be ready to explore the area tomorrow. Tonight across the street from our hotel is a ...

... amazed at how much elevation we had gained. The views all around were incredible and we had about an hour and a half at the top to explore and take pictures before heading back down. On one side we could see 3 or 4 lakes extending off into the distance, one of which was completely covered by clouds and fog – we figured it must be around Lucerne since we had not yet seen the mountains around it despite passing through twice. We could see ...
