After icing my knee and all three of us taking a nap, Ken and I went down to the common room to read, check emails and relax with some tea. We walked through the village to the train station. I did have a quick stop to look at fresh snow and saw snowflakes!! ... Tschuggen was great and afterwards we began our route home. The Eiger briefly popped out of the clouds as we approached and looked majestic. As we got to the top of the chair lift into the Eiger we saw Jon and Bruce with their lesson heading out into an off-piste area below the Eiger. It looked a reasonable run but was already heavily used by the off-piste junkies.
JJ and I headed down to the Wixi chair via one of the steepest black runs on the ...

... high. In the summer, warm wind causes the water to swirl around and spray in all directions. The spraying water gave the waterfall it's name because Staub means dust. We climbed the stairs to get to the cave that led us to the waterfall. Madoox loved running through the tube in the cave, but was not happy when we got to a damp, slippery staircase that leads you behind the falls. I held his hand and we carefully climbed ...
