      ... leaving the cathedral, we took a walking tour of the streets. The Christmas Market was in full swing, so we had a small pretzel each … and a glass of hot wine, which was very much appreciated in the cold weather (particularly because of the breeze, today was a lot colder than previously). Other sites in the town include a 3rd Century Roman triumphal arch, which we walked through.

      ... but there is also lots of stunning produce and the food culture is very big. Our house is a beautiful 2brm apartment above a shop with a cute rooftop terrace (although with the temp ranging from about 3 - 11 degrees we haven't spent much time out there.

      ... abroad, for four months Angers, was completely different. That doesn't mean I don't miss being home, but I am not pretty much constantly missing home and being sad. Thanks to this, I have been up for more adventures here. So far I have visited several different cities around my area and have even went to London and Krakow, Poland. I expect more adventures and excursions to come, so look out for my upcoming posts!

      ... went to lunch and Sasha and Ben treated me to a fabulous lunch at Le Grand Cerf which is a famous restaurant at Montchenot just outside of Reims.
