          ... 28 August
After some rude awakenings (not as many as yesterday but nevertheless) we ventured to
our next destination. This part of the Smeralda coast is just peppered with mega yachts with the occassional sailing yacht being tossed around in their wake.
We settled on anchoring in Calla di Volpe where there are lots of mega yachts anchored as well as a very expensive hotel with basic rooms starting from 1000 per night.
          We ...

          an anchorage just before Connigiorne.

          Tuesday 25 August
In the morning went ashore hoping to find a supermarket but there wasn't one. At least we got rid of some garbage and recycling (although the yachtclub, being private, did not seem best pleased with us doing so). Took the dinghy and went back to the main town and completed some provisioning.

... killed us, but by the time we are organised it is close to 11am! We walk slowly down the road;it's so steep you have to lean back to walk down safely. We get to the Devils bridge and take photos on the bridge and looking down. We tell our group that we are walking all the way down below but a few that have knee issues decide to wait it out under a shady tree. The rest of us walk down to the gorge and arrive at the ...

          Tuesday 28th July.
Stayed moored again today, another windy day. So we hired a taxi and drove to. Little village called Arzachena about 15kms away. We had fun walking in and out of the little boutique shops. This town is obviously a summer destination for tourists, few ancient buildings, plenty coffee and food shops. , We had lunch at a nice Ristorante on ...

          Monday 27th July
The weather has turned very windy, so the Captain has said he would not take the boat out of the Bay until at least Wednesday. Jude said it is unusual weather to be windy and choppy seas for this long. So after a scrumptious lunch we ordered taxis to take us to a Sardinia winery ' Surrau' Cellar Door. We were given a guided tour of the Cellar Door and the processing factory.
          The Surrua ...
