... just before 4pm to collect our bags and were approached by a European guy (possibly French) who was also going to KK with his girlfriend. We all shared a taxi, which cost us all the same as a bus but left immediately and was quicker. A few minutes into the journey the nice taxi driver pulled over to let me take one last photo of Mount Kinabalu in all its glory - the first time we'd seen Lowes Peak from the ground.
