      Conveniently located within walking distance to shopping malls, night market and the Promenade. As for room, facilities and food, well, this is a 5star hotel. Need I say more?

      ... on a fantastic lightning show with the odd rumble of thunder thrown in (thankfully no rain); there was hardly a cloud in the sky, but stars aplenty. Absolutely stunning.
      Mr John is now in bed snoring loudly whilst I try to concentrate writing the blog.
      It’s now gone midnight here, so it’s good night from me and good night from him.
      Hopefully I will get round to writing something at sometime tomorrow, most probably from the airport.

      it as the fruiting season is November to February. Durian has a very bad
      smell and is banned from hotels, airlines and most public places. Still not
      sure how to describe the smell but once you have smelt it you can detect it
      anywhere. Anyway I thought the fruit was Durian but as it was out of season,
      I asked the guy who said it was Durian and did we want some; I explained we
      were staying in a hotel so he said he would ...
