Said my last goodbyes to Mount K before heading back to Kota Kinabalu in a chartered cab. It was a comfortable 2-hour ride. Slept most of the way. Day 40: Staying in KK for one night

Before we fly to Oz... first canceled flight from Tawau to Kota Kinabalu meaning a 6 hour wait outside in 34 degree heat as they don't let you in the departure hall to under 1 hour before!

Off to Oz first thing next day... 3 hours to Singapore, 6 hours in Singapore aeropuerto and then about 7 hours to Sydney, Simples!

    Conveniently located within walking distance to shopping malls, night market and the Promenade. As for room, facilities and food, well, this is a 5star hotel. Need I say more?
