... were very impressed by Perpignan, given that French people when we'd asked them about destinations seemed to turn their noses up at Perpignan. The French have a wealth of appealing destinations. We found Perpignan to be clean and attractive, with well maintained heritage buildings with some of particular note including a cathedral dating from 1324 and the first city gate - a large arch in a large building which also dates rom the 14th century. Up at 6.30am since we all slept in. Was exhausted from yesterday's effort so slept soundly. One of the men has a swollen foot and ankle. It started getting sore in Paris, but has become worse. Last night Jade took him to the hospital and he has cellulitis. Had to go and find a chemist this morning to have the prescription filled. So this morning he set off, alone, in Jade's car, using the GPS on his phone, but it stopped working. Now Adam is from Taiwan ...

... are service attendants, cooks, cleaners, tea makers, and general everything. When not speaking, we do the other jobs. So today I helped with breakfast and lunch. I'm due to speak before tea so others will look after dinner tonight. Everything went well all day. Has been fun helping with all the jobs. There is a village clock in a tower nearby. It comes every 15 minutes and on ...
