Of course as we knew this was our last day in Europe. Without hesitation for me this was the best day overall. It literally flew by in the blink of an eye. We woke up and headed the French Alps. Still I am surprised how we just drive in and out of countries without hesitation.  Ariving at The Alps we got together, and got our tickets and headed to the cable cars. Overall this was an amazing experience that ...

I would stay here a few nights, it looks a little less busier than Geneva and the lake is just as nice. It has a nice Fairmont Hotel and even a statue dedicated to Freddie Mercury. Queen bought a recording studio here in the 1970's and supposedly he loved it here. The castle ...

Geneve on the lake

A travel blog entry by njmacindia on Aug 14, 2013

Up early today for our journey from Lindau to Geneva. Lyle and Helen off to Munich and Liz, Bill and Anne off to his cousin Rudeger. Chris, Tony Jud and I off to Geneve at 9am. First hurdle was the tickets as we had eurail passes for Germany, Italy and Switzerland but not for the short journey through Austria. An extra 13€ saved the day. Long journey thought the mountains past lakes and many beautiful scenes. ...
