... check in, only to find we had taken down the details of the wrong place. So off again….a few kilometres out of town to see our b&b which resembled something like Ma & Pa kettles yard!! Oh dear – another choice pick?!? But the surrounding mountain views were lovely and it was kind of good to be out of town. I noticed a couple of signs for walks and we appreciated an hours rest in the car park ...

... though I am unable to eat chocolate, I loved every minute I spent inhaling the heavenly odor of this magnificent chocolate. Additionally, we were even able to sample the raw cocoa beans, chocolate powder, and oranges, hazelnuts and bars all covered in chocolate. Once we finally got back to the hotel, we finished off the night by having dinner at Chez Ma Cuisine, famous for its rotisserie chicken.

... while the newer part of town is more modern.

After our city tour we hopped aboard a boat and did an hour long cruise on the lake. The weather was gorgeous and warm, so there were tons of people swimming, boating, sailing and enjoying the crystal blue waters. It was the perfect day to cruise Lake Geneva. There are small beaches here and there as well as a very long pier, and all of them were filled with people soaking up the summer sun.
