... at the "beach", in the middle of Lake Geneva. As it was a beautiful day there was quite a crowd there but we found a spot for us, and spent a couple of hours there swimming, sunning and snoozing. Everywhere we seem to go there is some sort of event, Geneva is hosting the 2015 European Triathlon Championships. There was people everywhere. ... we would take them back to the campsite by car as it is uphill from the city and navigating through the Geneva streets could be tricky, so it was a case of dismantling the tandem in the underground car park and putting it on the roof rack this was all very complicated and technical. ... check in, only to find we had taken down the details of the wrong place. So off again….a few kilometres out of town to see our b&b which resembled something like Ma & Pa kettles yard!! Oh dear – another choice pick?!? But the surrounding mountain views were lovely and it was kind of good to be out of town.
