      ... floor dinners! We have the best floor by far, as apparently the other ones struggle with either 0 interaction, or passive aggressive notes posted on doors to "wash your dishes." Our floor always ends up cooking dinner at the same time, so we are quite social and typically hang out together with food, so we decided that once a week we would all pitch in potluck style for communal dinners.       ... beckoning, which only took two minutes. And my oh my what a beautiful lake. On reaching the lake the most obvious feature is the Jet d'Eau. Paris has its Eifel Tower, Sydney the Opera House etc, Geneva has its Jet d'Eau as its famous land mark, built in 1186, a fountain which spurts a jet of water 140m into the air.

      ... be. It was market day so lots of stalls and fresh food and of course it was also folk festival weekend so most of the old town was shut to traffic and on every corner was either a puppet show or comedy act or group of musicians. I had to stick to visual acts as anything thing else was lost in translation. I particulary enjoyed the guys with the swiss horns. They were a highlight.
