... mop out and clean the floor as it was a sticky mess.
It was such a lovely evening we decided to go for a walk to the lake and Marty stepped in doggy poo that he had a heck of a job to lose. It is really pretty with water features in their round-a-bouts, and lovely green grass and parks. I feel like I could live here.
We are staying here for 3 nights and our room is nice and big with plenty of room.

Bonjour! We woke up this morning after a good (and long) night's rest. Breakfast in the hotel -- eggs, musli and pastries, then headed out for sight-seeing. The church bells were ringing at the Notre Dame across the street from the hotel, but the streets were very quiet otherwise. ... We've just had a great dinner in the hostel (as we did last night) for 15 Swiss Francs, which is about £10. You can help yourself to salad and bread and you get a pile of pasta, veg and pork in a sauce, a dessert and a drink - bargain. This is one of those hostels which is really more of a hotel. Generally nice though. One thing I haven't quite understood about Switzerland is where they place themselves in Europe. They insist on having their own currency and ...
