... but returned after 2 kms as it started to rain. It's now thunder and lightening and we feel so thrilled we had such wonderful weather for our entire trip. We ate dinner at a local restaurant which was delicious and now we are getting organised for our ferry sailing tomorrow. We will be thrilled to get back to London as Blake and Sarah have been unwell. The biking was awesome though and every day was brilliant - spectacular scenery and lovely ...

... right to the door to the town. There were people around but it was deserted compared with the previous day. We spend a bit of time taking photos and watching the sun trying to rise and then as we turned to go the shuttle buses were letting off waves of people. We rode on the bike path again through lanes lined with trees, maize fields and farm ...

It was crowded at times but I couldn't imagine what it would be like at peak times. It was so amazing and such a thrill to be there. We will go back in ...

We planned to get up early and as it happened it wasn't difficult. Although our hotel was lovely and a prime position in the town, our room on the ground floor was pretty much on the footpath. It was also a busy road with cars and people walking so the night was noisy. They did us a favour though as by 7.35 am we were on our bikes and heading out along the cobbled streets. I wore tights to protect my legs from the sun but as we left the town it was so ...

... 1 1/2 miles. The weather was great and the view pretty special, so the walk passed easily. We got there and picked out our restaurant and got our food. Julie ordered salt lamb from the area, oysters and farbreton. I got a weird fluffy omelet thing with half raw egg fluff (it's a specialty of mont saint Michel but I didn't like it very much), a salad, and an egg custard. Cooper got roast chicken, a salad, and ...
