Perfect way to celebrate getting down the worst part of the hill, we only had about 200m more of vertical (vs the 800 we had already done!)

We just sat and chatted & the conversation lead to how Sam is a lesbian & just how she figured that out. It was an interesting conversation. Then she said, "I hate that we haven't all hung out like this before.." To which most of us replied with "it's been 2 days.." That's when she passed out on her bed & we called it a ...

... out there and the glacier valleys with peaks all around were amazing.

Once back inside we continued on towards the ice palace which was carved out in the 1930s by two mountain guides. Because of all the tourists it is now has to be cooled to a constant temperature of -3⁰ so it doesn’t all melt! It was a strange experience to be surrounded ...
