    A magical day in Murren

    ... the train to Murren. After a lot of people got off at Winteregg JJ could sit in the driver's seat (at the back of the train) and pretend to drive. We then had the walk through Murren from the train station to the gondola station, which are opposite ends of the village. Murren is very picturesque as it is a small alpine village on a plateau with no road access; in fact our gondola and train also carried supplies for the Co-Op.

    ... while she just had her runners, and after the constant steep downhill and unsteady footing it was starting to really hurt.     My roommate departs in the early morning, and I have the place to myself. I lie in bed and listen to the 'ssssh' noise of cars on a wet road before getting up for an extremely hot shower followed by breakfast.
