it but I was certainly not walking all that way in the boiling heat.
Back at the junction station of Kleine Scheidegg we board another train to
Grindlewald Grund. Again this is a line I have travelled a number of times but
as usual I still cannot help clicking away at my camera.
Its all downhill all the way to Grund and once there its a five minute walk
to the lower cableway station for our journey back ...

The snow was much firmer than at Mt Titlis so we didn’t end up with wet butts at all! After spending about 4 hours exploring, we finished up at the Lindt chocolate shop where Marc got a little crazy and suggested we get 1 of each flavor of the Lindt balls (which we ended up buying).

... steam cog railway in the area (and the only one still running on steam on a regular basis). We caught the bus at 7:15 and then transferred to the train to Interlaken. We then hopped on another train to Brienz. The Swiss rail system is amazing. All of our trains lined up with enough time to transfer, but not too much time so we didn’t end up sitting around waiting for them. They all leave on time so there is no point running hoping one will be late ...
