When I was out shopping, I found a bottle of wine from my cousin Laurence’s vineyard and of course had to purchase it – I mean how many times can you say you bought your cousin’s wine?!?! I gave the bottle to Sandra as a thank you and she thought it was “très cool” that my cousin has her own vineyard ;-)

We took the metro into the centre of Lyon, in between the two rivers (the Rhône and the Saône) and spent some time looking around. I mapped our ride on my trusty Strava app at my results were 41.7km taking 4 hours 15 minutes, including lunch and a few stops for sight seeing our trip took around 7 hours!!!
It was well worth it though the scenery around the lake was stunning! There snow capped mountains and heaps of para-gliders going of the mountain.
Ben even had a quick dip in the lake.
