... drivers.Our Garmin GPS...aka *****ing Betty, got us into Paris by 6pm. Fortunately most of the traffic was going the opposite way out of the city as this was the Friday of a long weekend, Monday being Bastille Day. ... thing. We walked around that area, very interesting I guess, a lot of sexual stuff. We didn't really like it, so than we went on a hunt for Crepes. We finally found some, and each got one, well Ana and I did, and than we decided to head home. It was a fun day, but again the people are rude, and just the way they act are annoying, Especially the servers, they take all day because they don't get paid in tips. Whatever, one more day than I can go home.
... some coffee and read my book then walked to Ponts de l'Archeveche and sat by the Seine looking at Cathedral Notre Dame and read some more. Walked home through the Marais district slowly and window shopped along the way. LOVE window shopping :)) I got home and was going to head back out for a sit down dinner but decided on a picnic at the Eiffel Tower instead. Bought the yummyiest sandwich and brownie from a Brasserie and a couple beers and made my way to the metro. Beautiful ...
... nights. Seems they are allowed in shops, on buses and trains, in Cafe's and restaurants. As we travel to Nice on the train I noticed a German Shepherd, a Scottish Terrier and a French Poodle. Do they have there own seats?
Next accessory is a cigarette. Everyone seems to smoke. Don't the French know that smoking is a health hazard here! The streets are lined with cigarette butts. Peter and I have passive smoked every day in Paris. No getting away from it!

We wanted to get to Sacre Coeur early because today is Kate's birthday. She hasn't been well this past couple of days and has been hospitalised with pneumonia. We sat in the quiet of the basilica, said a prayer for her and lit 2 candles. There are no photos of the inside of the basilica, not allowed.
