... went to a winery. Fascinating to see, hear and then sample some basic mustard made by some volunteers from our group. Mustard seeds are really tiny ( remember the bible story?) but when ground by hand with salt and white wine vinegar form a paste of mustard. It was horrible. But we did have a tasting of the real stuff, including flavours such as ginger, beetroot, Bourgogne, honey and Tarascon, which is like wasabi....eek! Lastly we did the little ...

Alarm at 03.45 seems a rather uncivilised time to start a relaxing holiday but one of the crosses we have to bear! Transport arrived promptly to collect us at 04.30 hrs and we were able to negotiate the miles and miles of road works along the M3 at a steady 50 mph.
