We are off to Italy today. Anthony wanted to go through the Mt Blanc Tunnel, so on route we done many stopped to take photos and take in the views they were amazing, so beautiful. It takes your breathe away.

Green in every ...

... Chamonix really felt like real spring, that fresh garden smell, birds chirping, rivers flowing and just everything coming back to life again. It was simply beautiful! The majority of the mountains closed mid April. Grand Montets was the only mountain which stayed open until the end of the month, and was surprisingly still ok despite the time of year. Even on our last day up the mountain we ...

... a good investment. Families planted one when a child was born because it would provide wood for furniture, nuts and pressed oil when the child grew up. Italians are now rediscovering the unique flavor that walnut oil adds to local specialties. I am staying a nice hotel in Fenis tonight. The people are lovely and the room is comfortable. I had nice lunch and will relax for the rest of the day. Today is the 70th ...
