... a Cirque du Soleil performance before so didn't know what to expect, but there were tumblers and and dancers and two girls who did an amazing trapeze performance in mid air that made my stomach turn. It was so good, and the group put the performance on every night for free so I'm really glad we the opportunity to go. On the ferry back to Levi's we were serenaded by a tipsy elderly Quebecer and his accordion. Next stop, Montreal- let's hope it's just as good! Deej ...

... was to have a look around the Chateau and there was a great view over the river from Dufferin Terrace a promenade overlooking the river and the lower town. Before the Terrace is the Samuel de Champlain monument, in honour of the founder of Quebec, a work by Paul Chevre, inaugurated in 1898. I had a look inside the Chateau but was only allowed to look in the lobby and the shops downstairs. A very cosy posh looking hotel.

I arrived in Quebec and wandered the very pretty streets. Its a very historical town and very romantic, the hostel i stayed in was within the old castle city walls, standing above the buildings. That night i had a yum french crepe and then the next morning i jumped on a walking tour with a fantastic tour lady. The tour was fantastic and I can't wait to get back to this city, it is just peaceful, tranquil, filled with history and beautiful. ...

... is one of America's top ten most beautiful parks and the one hour walk takes you through covered bridges, passed waterfalls, pools, boulders, forests and a climb up a wooden walkway through a n 800 foot gorge with running water and sheer 90 foot walls. Beautiful!

Next stop was the US/Canadian Border where we cleared immigration and no sir we are not carrying any firearms! 3 1/2 more hours of double lane freeway and all signs in ...
