My hotel is
right in the centre of Megeve right on the motor vehicle free pedestrian walkway.
After a good soak in a hot bath I had a couple of beers sitting out the front

... for our bus to arrive and then it took another 15 minutes to get to the hotel.
By this time, the heavens had opened and the rain was pelting down. We still had about 200 metres to walk from the bus stop, which was far enough to get both ourselves and our luggage soaking wet. After getting the customary maps and tourist brochures from the front desk, we settled into our room and went straight to bed.
