We found this gorgeous little bakery and bought a couple of baby baguettes to take back to Fifi for lunch. I have never eaten such yummy bread, the French certainly make great bread, it is so light and crunchy, yummy.

I have to say I was smitten with St Topez, it is elegant and understated and the locals have managed to keep the Old World Charm of bygone days, simply ...

Finishing off our shopping, we couldn't be picky with what we bought. €99c for two cartons of soup and €35c for a baguette was our dinner sorted! It was a lovely day; very relaxing and enjoyable.

We were making great time until about 12 km out of the centre and we came to a dead stop. Next thing fire engines, ambulances and police roared by - so we waited for about 30 mins until they cleared the accident and then it was bumper to bumper all the way in. And then the ...

Cannes is most famous for its yearly famous Film festival. It began in 1946 shortly after World War II. The city also has a long history, although most of it took place on the nearby Lerins islands where until this day one can find remains of old battles from shipwrecks and cannon posts as well as a monks with a community of Cistercian monks which have inhabited the island since AD 410. Throughout the 19th century, various ...
