... the kids went for a swim. The villa we are staying in is part of a larger complex which has a communal pool. ... playground for the rich and famous – the clothes, the boats, the food – this port was an unexpected bonus.

Ambling around the town for a few hours, we enjoyed St Tropez although most shops were closed thanks to their midday siesta.

After a wonderful stroll through the streets, we hopped back on our tender. It had been a lovely day in St Tropez.

... a wine tasting which we were invited to join – very enjoyable. The old town is still relatively quiet which we enjoyed. Unfortunately the Spanish Castle which overlooks the town was closed for renovations. St Tropez, interesting to visit but stay somewhere close by, if possible.
