    Rustic hotel in heart of Villandry village and close to the chateau. Good restaurant. Great place for overnight stay. .

    This beautiful castle built on the River Cher was home to five different ladies between 1499-1836; Diane De Poitiers, Catherine de Medici, Louise of Lorraine, Louise Dupin and Marguerite Pelouze.     The guy from the camping was a fan of old Citroëns and you'd find them parked around the camping side.
