... was, by the way, my third glass of wine after having said at the start i didn't want any as i was knackered and wanted to sleep well. but you have to have an apertif, or so Bruno says. and then he said the wine was local so i must try some with the pasta and apparently the desert just doesn't taste the same if you don't have the sweet wine to bring out the flavours.
I also managed to talk about consumerism with Isabella, fantasticique! ...

... here using sign language and asked how far away was Tours. The friendly non-English speaking waiter held up his flingers showing a very petite distance. We then lined up in the local rail office to work out how we would get to Tours from St Pierre. Luckily the young woman behind us in the queue spoke English and said it was too far for a taxi and the best option was to take the next train (a low speed train) ...
Le démontage du vélo... pour les nuls!
... petit vélo, le démontage est pas nécessaire car on n'enlève pas la roue arrière, mais pour celui-là qui est plus grand, enlever les deux roues étaient impératif. Et pour ne pas que le dérailleur se torde à porter tout le poids du vélo, le démontage était primordial. Il est de plus fortement conseillé par les bourlingueurs des forums qui ont déjà eu pour certains des soucis avec cette pièce sensible.
