      I know it's been a while since I've posted, but have no fear, I am not one of the unfortunate 8 souls who died last weekend from an avalanche in the surrounding areas. True stat. I haven't done any crazy traveling the past two weeks, but I have visited some pretty cool places that I can fill y'all in on!

      ... amp; waiting outside the apartment for my hosts to arrive, feeling abandoned & lonely,I suddenly realised I was still loved as here in this French speaking city across the road in perfect English was a sign "I Love You" obviously especially erected for my visit.       ... down the road and then realise you quickly have to cross the road to catch it without getting run over.

      Verey is the home town of Charlie Chaplin and he has his statue on the lake foreshore and I think he is buried in the cemetery but I didn’t look. He looks over the giant fork which apparently reflects the serenity of the lake and mountains. Really! It’s a fork! Why a fork!
