... missed the bus that comes only once an hour by 10 mins -.- Finally got a bus down to Spiez again & had to walk down the hill to the harbour to take a ferry ride. Initially wanted to go on Lake Brienz where it's prettier & ends at Interlaken but we missed the last one again by 20 mins. Had to take the other ferry to Lake Tunz & had to wait again for 40 mins. ... s buddy for the day. Tim was his name and I had Micky. We got debriefed on all the chutes and how they worked and then set us up in our jump suits and took the first group off. As the plane skittered away and the 4 people who had gotten inside went on a ride of a life time we sat on deck chairs in groups waiting and watching the skies looking for them. ... and they jokingly argue about whether the boy will be a skier or a tennis player! We also got into quite a discussion about the situation in the Middle East with Israel and Palestine. It was interesting to see he was more sympathetic for the Palestinians. He was born in Switzerland but lived in Canada for quite a while. Mary-Lou is from Europe.
