It was a very early morning start to catch the train to Paris, Barbara met us at the station to say goodbye. We had to change trains at Geneva but otherwise a lovely trip, definitely 1st class is the way to go. ... out clearing the roads. Geneva airport is a lot smaller than I imagined, and quite civilized. Of course we were early..so another coffee before saying 'aurevoir' to Karen..then wait in the queue at security. The panorama from the aeroplane window during take off of a snowy Geneva and countryside was just so beautiful! Six and a half hours flying time saw us arrive in Dubai..just before midnight their time..then the plane kept taxiing..well passed both terminals..were we ...
