The next day we went back to the lake for a swim. The water was so clear you could see the ducks dive to the bottom to get some grass. It was a little cold at first but very ...

    Race Day

Graham met another trathlete on the campsite and they decided to travel on the 7.30 bus into Geneva. An early start with number tattoos applied , sun cream on and pre race breakfast. Our first stop of the day was at a bakery for treats, we got an eclair and an almond croissant to share. Next we stopped to put gas in the car. Conor came walking out of the station holding a candy bar and an Evian water bottle. He says to me, "Why did I buy an Evian water bottle when we already have plenty of water?" I ...

... trip along the lake front. Soon enough we were in a new city. We managed to make our way to our hotel via the information office for a map. I had booked this accommodation 8 months ago and we randomly checked last night if the price had changed - and it had! (We were due to pay on arrival) I was booked for $236 Aussie and the new advertised price was for $152! (By the way - Geneva is pricey in the city!!) when we arrived we asked ...
