    On our morn walk we ventured into the back streets where the real people live and discovered more hidden beauty. We walked into the town square past Louis Pasteur's home and college. We decided to have a picnic breakfast in a cute little spot once just outside the town limits, which we all enjoyed greatly.     The Olympic museum has recently undergone a huge renovation. Tony and I had been to see it over 15 years ago and it was beautiful then.

    ... sail on what we thought would be a 3 hour tour, across the lake to other towns and points of interest including a castle or 2....but some how that didn't happen..we crossed the lake and did get a great sense of its size and importance to the whole area but no castles..

    Since this town is really close to France, not only do they speak French but they also have really good crepes. We went to a super expensive crepery and I had what is possibly the best crepe of my life. It had raspberry preserves, fresh raspberries, raspberry ice cream and raspberry sauce drizzled over it.
