    Lunch with an old friend

A travel blog entry by daniel.swiss on Jun 10, 2015

Today I had lunch with an old friend of mine, one of the last people I still know at my first employer. We remembered the "good old days", and we caught up with the kid's stories. I realized that his youngest is now 15; the last time I saw him, he was ...

Thanks to Joel and his friends for helping to make this holiday so special to both Sandy and ...

I suppose it was my own fault. I could have played safe with the steak and frites but, no, I had to be adventurous and choose something completely unknown to me. The dish was called 'Andouillette grilee ou sauce moutarde (et frites)' and I have to ...

... several layers and it is difficult to navigate around once you lose view of the lake. It is definitely more French than German, with its up market fashion stores. That night Carsten cooked up some Gorgonzola and spinach pasta sauce, lets call it strike 2 in my cheesy rich food quest. This coupled with a handful of Lindt Chocolate balls had me well and truly ready for bed early that night. Carsten and Kathy were going away on Thursday evening (flying to ...
