... transported, it looks so cruel, pigs too being dragged by their ankles through the street, most likely to slaughter. ... a gem stone shop where they showed us a lot of things endemic to madagascar, especially a blue quartz-like rock called celestine or something like that (possibly what we call moonstone??) We also visited a workshop where a guy makes miniature cars, bicycles, rickshaws and trucks out of entirely recycled materials- such as cans, brake cables and the plastic tubes used when giving IV drugs.
