... it home. 15,000 Ar to make it at best a 7,000 Ar distance. With multiple breakdowns along the way. But how could I fight it? Just me and the dark streets and suddenly no one, no taxis around.

So this is their power. Their capital. In a city so overcrowded with crime and personal disaster, where everyone has been affected by violence in one way or another, they hold the cards.

So if you do dare to go out at night, just be prepared to pay the price. Once way or another.

This was a long flight from Paris. We (7 of us) landed at 10:20PM in Antananarivo. Rather anxious because it is a far away destination. We did not know so much what to expect.

... ago. They'd headed off east to the small island of Ile Sainte Marie off the east coast of Madagascar, whilst I'd headed south. They'd then flown from the island to Tana and then to Tulear and we'd met up again in Ranohira, crazy!
