... way after booking out of the hotel as we had time before the train was due to go. We went across the River which was very big and then walked back across the next bridge. Magret du canard (duck breast) for me and the boys and 'une piece de Boucher' (a piece of meat from the butcher!) for Andy which turned out to be an excellent steak thankfully. ...

... large and small. We saw a grebe with a juicy fish hanging out it's mouth, giant white egrets at a distance and a massive muskrat swimming right in front of us.
Once back home the boys had a chilly dip in the pool which I gave a miss, still feeling rather delicate from the tummy bug.
