The weather was not so good today as we woke to grey skies and a little rain. Luckily come lunchtime things we looking better in time for our excursion to the Puy - it would have been pretty pointless if the visibility was poor - but the landscape would not be so luscious and green without some rainfall. No pain, no ...

... Veringetorix, who almost halted Caesar's success in Gaul. Fountain of Aloise. Statue to Pope Urbain the Second, who initiated the Curia in Rome and set up the first crusade. Then looked into the Unesco listed Notre Dame du Port Basilica with really impressive roof line and tiling. Back to camp to meet up with Rob and Rob again, who had driven in from Lyon. They had also scored a tour of the Michelin factory before retiring to Maccas to collect ...
