Sunday June 1 and Monday June 2

Days 39 and 40

His take on the day:

The drive from Davos was quite long and a bit tiring for an old man!. We went South again, through the 6.6km long San Bernardino Tunnel, nearly down to Milan, cutting the edge of Lake Como, then finally back into the Italian Alps just 20km from France. The final hour was horrendous with ...

We went to a local restaurant and ate some pizza, and wandered the streets a little bit before heading to the train station.

And that's about all!

From Italy, with love,

Anyway, we got going once the tops slopes were open and Sophie, Anna and I headed to the highest peak in the 3 Valleys, Point du Bouchet, at 3230m. Some of the skiing was hard going as there were tricky moguls to navigate but it was worth the effort for the beautiful views ...
