Just a few photos from the Ski holiday so far - won't bore you all with tales of daring red runs, lost snow chains (thankfully not this year, so far) or off piste escapades, but the attached photos are a way of sharing our holiday with family and friends ... Even the animal head attached to the wall got into the spirit, sporting his own ski goggles and a smirk. After tea (which was made marginally more entertaining by the French ...

Had a very exciting start to my day, pancakes for breakfast! Hannah had me up looking out the window from the crack of dawn, as it was snowing (I did try to explain that it was essential in a ski resort and that my time would be better spent in bed...)
The girls got off to ski school. I took my time getting ready and then wandered off into town to find the lifts. And here I came a cropper. I could see chairlifts, but none of them seemed to be moving. I walked ...

... turn though, rather amazingly, I did manage to drive the same part of the M1 3 times (that's what you get for thinking you know better than the diversion signs) and arrive at the airport by 6:30.
Got through security no trouble and went for a leisurely breakfast (porridge. And a banana. If you're interested). The gate number came up on the screens so off we went, last minute trips to the ...
