Dick was stuffed so we had coffee & moved on to the huge piazza on one face of which is the Roman theatre for which Verona is known for. Had a beer & walked slowly home for a rest.

Next we headed off to the nearby Lamberti Tower (everything is nearby given the small old town area) which is the tallest tower in the city. The old clock tower still functions and we heard the bell ring while at the top. In fact, it is still ringing in our ears. The views were spectacular of course. ... of the time, going in various mask and glass shops. There is so much love in that city. I would see random couples dancing or making out and just being happy, so it made me happy. We departed Venice around 5:00 pm and went to Padova where we stayed the night. Padova is a small town in Italy where a lot of students from all over the world study and not touristy at all. We found a cute place for dinner that night then went to bed early.
