What a magic day. In the morning we made fresh tracks through powder knee deep, which was magic. Later we did some off piste skiing through waist deep powder which was fun but tricky. ... arrived just in time for the 1.50pm "bear bus". I would highly recommend the bus as it does allow a much closer view of the bear in the "natural environment". Even though the bears were clearly lured out so we may see them better, I am grateful for this close encounter of the safe kind. The Higuma did not fail to live up to the expectation and I will always in be awe of their fur and cute round ears. :)
