... being a seasoned traveler and not panicking? I lied. My heart was racing and I was saying lots of very bad words. Tally writing... Today we arrived in the brilliant town of makarska!! We kept hearing about this place from locals and the books. Also this is the home town of one of the guys we met back in Zagreb and we promised to come see him here too! Glad we did what a cool place!! This town has everything! The small marbled town area with locals shops and quieter food places etc to the booming seafront ...

... what can you except it's me Ali and sof! Once ready we headed over to and American boat to celebrate the Fourth of July with them!! We then boat hopped all the way to the end in order to get onto land where the real party was! The party was a sorta beach club thing! ... all the way around..took about 11/2 hours and included 500 steps. It was well worth it for the spectacular view,even though I ended up with 'jelly legs' We caught the bus back to the hotel, which is by the way, fantastic. My room overlooks the harbor so I can see all the little boats coming and going. And talking of boats, we are going on a little boat trip this evening, followed by dinner and a walk through the city at night ...
