They were not, because the move was supposed to take place on Saturday. We produced the documentation saying Thursday and they were all very sorry but the unit was still occupied, so we would have to unpack and continue where we were.

Chantel Rob Coco and I ran into court and Lauren by chance and they showed us the market where we could find outfits. Korcula was our next stop (I'm writing this somewhat retrospectively as have been too busy/lazy to keep to real time). ... town. We couldn't go inside the Fortress as it was closed (as of September) like many things in this town giving us the true meaning of "Off Season". Sigh. Was a nice walk though and our butts have never been more toned. Tomorrow will will attempt to leave Hvar and get to Split back on the mainland, providing the weather is nice enough that the ferry can get there. With breakfast done and a hearty berocca on board to aid the hangover recovery, we sat on the front of the boat as it passed along the side of Brac Island. We were en route to Makarska (one of only a few stops we made to the mainland). Having got a few more chapters read as we cruised this part of the Adriatic, the boat pulled into a calmer bay to anchor down for our daily swim slot.
