    ... I have found of where I will be living in Austria! I will be living above a meat shop in one of the main streets of Krems! I was extremely nervous hearing this because I have heard that the landlady is not very kind, and that I may smell like salami at all times.. But hey, I guess it is part of the European experience!

    ... choices. I know that I wanted to go to a smaller city/town and somewhere that spoke English. When filling out my application forms for the exchange, I had selected Ireland as my first choice and England as my second choice. At that point I was considering only the two and was not prepared to list a third choice. I have no idea what made me list a third choice but out of a hat (with little research done) I chose Krems, Austria.

    ... I have drum brakes and this road had no shoulders.
