... the town I had been hearing about, knows as a conscious community, set in the "Valley of Longevity". Famous for many centenarians in the indigenous population, it has drawn a large immigrant community from especially the US. Definitely an older crowd, many retirees, probably looking for a bit of longevity themselves, but also lots of interesting characters, some just spending time doing nothing, drinking and smoking in the cafes, but many involved in spiritual ...

I had made it my mission to save up a bunch of money and leave this week for southern Colombia after celebrating the Feria de Navidad de Cali, the biggest festival in Cali that happens immediately after Christmas. So I've been working a lot. I was planing on leaving in 2-3 days after saving another few hundred thousand pesos. Well, last night I was almost robbed again (again at knife point) and ****** up both of my feet in the process so it's looking as though I'll have some ...

... average speed of 35km was going to take a while. The roads also meant that we had to stop to let other vehicles past, get searched my the police, or throw out an anchor to avoid a crash.

This is a stark difference to the driving in Europe. The laws there meant that the driver had to stop every few hours. Here, I was lucky enough to get him to wait for me for 2 minutes to have a ****. They don't normally do that apparently. They have the "rolling stop" to ...

... br> It wasn't too bad either I guess as it kind of lowered our expectations about Colombia and they were pretty high. It is almost one of the last country in South America and I had been hearing AMAZING stuff (yeah, gringos again ;) - nan, just kidding, from everyone) and this is dangerous. The more you hear about something, the more... (well, you know).

It's ok, we saw some good moves, good shapes, let's now see something more typical!
