... had not followed us from the states. :( We then talked to the airport staff and they told us to keep in touch, so I wasn't too worried about it. A car was sent by Myra from Kairos School (where would be volunteering) and the driver was very sweet. We arrived at Hotel Carmen in Antigua safe and sound. We get an early start to have ourselves sorted before our 9am pick up for our hike up a local volcano named Pacaya. It was a pretty average sleep with more commotion in the dorm around 330-4am last night. But finally things quietened down and we got some sleep. Slam down our corn flakes, shower, smash a few coffees and we are ready to roll. As expected, our pick up is few mins late so Purto ducks to the toilet. ... of the bus is now inside collecting tickets. Once he finishes securing everything he climbs down a ladder mounted to the back of the bus, while the bus is underway, runs alongside and hops on.
