... spewing out lava. We made the descent in two hours but the path was difficult to walk along. The volcano had erupted a number of times over the last decade so the ash was in small pieces and every time you put your foot down it was like being on a ski slope just slipping away. ... of cream cheese and I managed to apply the latter without my knife, which was unfortunately back at the hotel. That reminds me of when I first entered Guatemala, I had to hand it (the knife I specified was for cutting fruits and rolls) in to the bus company, and then they returned it to me when I had arrived at Guatemala City. After I ate my modest lunch, I walked around and found it to be quite a dull, though very relaxing place. I ran into some Dutch tourists from my hotel ...

... being the main meal of the day. I had a savoury pancake, something I am not really accustomed to with an Antiguan twist. The Luna Italiana had mozzarella, lightly grilled tomato and avocado, and it was yummy and certainly filling, and which tasty beverage you may ask? Well it went by the name of angel loco and manifested itself in the form of a smoothie with the following ingredients: papaya, pineapple, banana, strawberries and orange juice - YUMMY!
