Our third day in Prague saw us heading out of town to visit Theresienstadt (Terezin) which was an old Fortress and Garrison town that was built by the Austro-Hungarian Empire as a defence against the Prussians. It never saw any action as a Fortress and the small Fortress was used as a Prison. It’s most famous inmate was Gavrilo Princip, the guy who lit the fuse for the start of the First World War with the assassination of Archduke ...
... We had a lot of fun although Lukas, the party trasher, didn't let us play as much but we still had a good time. Did I mention there was a pool there and every single day we went swimming with Camy and Sydney we did flips, turns, twists, handstands, cartwheels wait cartwheels? we didn't do any cartwheels ...mommy you were wrong we didn't do any cart wheels what so ever ...I'm sorry for that interruption and we also did flips.Bye for now!
... br> And I have to mention my mother and Carl here...they got on the dance floor and blew every one else out of the water... THEY CAN DANCE! My siblings and I (along with a few other people) bore witness to this....I guess those 10 years of ballroom dance classes really paid off.
All in all it was great time and Thank You Ghislain and Daria for inviting us and allowing us to celebrate such a momentous event in such a beautiful setting. It was just... Fantastic!
So we finally got out out of the city and were heading into the country. My dad did not consider that I didn't want to go on a three hour train ride, made us go on the train. But we had a secret weapon the COMPUTER I sat there for two hole hours watching the computer until my movie finished well it didn't really finish the battery died. ... particularly special but certainly acceptable. The breakfast was a pretty basic traditional Polish breakfast with sausage or eggs along with breads, cold cuts and cheeses. I think the best part of the breakfast was where it was held, in an old brick cellar with these great brick arches that gave it a very special atmosphere.
