... and museum. The view standing atop of the amphitheater was breathtaking. Roman columns rose in the air as a foreground to the brightly colored city, the sea, and wonderful Spanish murals on the walls of buildings. We walked down from the amphitheater and spent a great morning exploring the streets. At last, I got to buy something! There is an artesian center where only goods by local craftsmen are sold. No made in China stuff for us. ...

... s cool at night and dark around 6.30pm, so you can still tell it’s winter (lol).

We are very young, compared to ALLLLLLLL of the people we’ve met. Most are at least 70, so we fit in well!

Having said that, we can tell it’s British school holidays this week, look forward to that been over. Also you have to pick busier places to visit as lots of shops/restaurants have closed for winter.

... are still in place giving it a beautiful setting. We visit the amazing Central Markets, one of the largest in Europe and covering 8000 sq meters built in 1915 - 1928 - but said to be the market place since the 14th century. It provides the local city dwellers (and tourists) with the freshest and finest foods. A must see! Next the Gothic Cathedral (of course) where construction began in 1262 on the site of an old mosque, followed by a visit to the famed Lladro ...

Today is our last day! And I 100% Did not want to come back to freezing cold English weather!

... food was so yummy! Massive Oreo and nutella milkshakes with thick cream on top with amazing BBQ chicken burgers and seasoned chips! Really wish we had a Tommy mels back in England as i want to try everything of the menu!

The Shopping mall was amazing it was 34 degrees which was the hottest day through the whole holiday but the mall had a spray system all the way through where cold mist is blown out on to you which made the heat bearable - Orihuela is ...
