Antalya, Antalya, Turkey aytgroup... t imagine it’s much better on a sunny day. You know that you’re in hideous humidity when the sauna room in a Turkish bath feels like a refreshing change.

Yesterday was spent mostly on the bus with a brief stop at a mountain cavern. Half of the group paid to enter the cavern, but when Mine said the words, “bat ****,” I joined the half that stayed behind. Staying behind involved sitting in an outdoor garden café sipping tea and writing. Again, my ...
Antalya, Turkish Mediterranean Coast, Turkey medgrl413... much count on it being directly relevant to what we were doing or where we were going. Now all of a sudden there were e's and a's as far as the eye could see, the occasional f lurking around the corner, and enough o's and h's to write a porn script. Never mind that we still couldn't understand a word of it, or that some of the letters seemed just a bit off - g's with happy faces, vowels with eyes and c's and s's that appeared to have clingers hanging from their asses. The ...
Antalya, Turkish Mediterranean Coast, Turkey dinojay2... was just too intriguing to pass up. Plus, I am a huge fan of hammocks, and I felt sure there would be an abundance of hammocks there. Shockingly, I think I liked Olympos even more than Mitch did. This from the girl who has said "that doesn't seem very sanitary" countless times during this trip. We stayed in a wooden bungalow with a private bathroom, and it really wasn't that bad. The beauty ...
Olympos, Turkey mskinner96... anyone tells you, "rat island" looks absolutely nothing like a rat and everything like a turtle. Day three was ushered in with a stroke of fantastic luck. A couple Germans wanted to rent a car to go to Olimpos, as it is a hassle (and costly) to get there with public transport for assorted reasons, but wanted to stay there and continue there way east, not return the same day. Chris and I, somehow, learned of this and made a deal. We all split the cost ...
Antalya, Turkey gtrob... although a little odd too) liked to play a game they called AquaTurd. Now, AquaTurd is a clever game where one player, having seized the opportunity whilst out swimming to "drop the Cosby kids off" into the sea around him, then proceeds to throw the ***** at the other player. A direct hit in the face makes you a winner...apparently. Even better, if he misses, you can then return fire with his own ammo. As Mick says, "There's nothing more fun than smacking your mate in ...
