So….a long afternoon was spent cancelling credit card and gnashing my teeth at the loss of my purse, the cards and the money in it.

We turned down a less busy road that led through a vineyard which was very pretty with row after row of vines. All the vines were laden with plump, sweet, juicy red grapes. We know this because we 'stole' two to taste them. The skins are tough ...

    Wednesday 24
    September

Headed south for a coastal drive around the outskirts of
    Narbonne to Port-la-Nouvelle. A pretty
    town with a lighthouse.

    Stopped at Port-Vendres.
A harbor full of sailing boats and lots of restaurants where we found a restaurant serving moules and frites (mussels and fries).

In search of a lighthouse to view, we drove a very narrow scary
    road around the cliff.

... How do these people get through menopause??!!?!!?!

I finally reached the counter, and I made my apologies of Not being able to speak French... and asked if she spoke ánglais? She was so nice and very pretty, kinda like an over Chill Shepard. She said yes, she knew English and proceeded to ask mall the particulars, plus I had a printout that the Madrid customer service lady gave me.
