... dinner. Store hours are very strange here. There was a big mountain run today with lots of visiting competitors, but none of the outdoor stores were open. In fact, they all closed down around 1 pm on Saturday. Half the stores are closed Saturday afternoon and nothing is open Sunday, which is strange for a tourist town. Tomorrow we are off to Solden. ... it was raining, so we caught a taxi rather than walking. Our hotel is called the Hotel Schloss Lebenberg. It's a beautiful hotel, about 150 meters up on a hill above the town of Kitzbuhel, but the walk into town is only 15 minutes along paved alleyways and paths. We had a nice lunch at the hotel. Day started wet but just as we left the hotel it stopped and started clearing. We went to Fieberbrunn to a park up in the mountains. It was colder than the other days but again we had great fun.
