... was shortish and very straight so at 5:30pm we arrived at the giant campsite that is "Dornumerland". Here a slightly eccentric man took our details laughing loudly and taking great pleasure in showing us where everything was. A very nice chap.

The campsite has space for around 450 vans and a long field for tents. It is right on the North Sea with a long beach stretching the entire length of the site (see photos). It has ...

We slept through the 7:20 alarm. We slept through the 7:30 alarm. We woke at 8:10. It was going to be a long day.

Then we went to Angeliques. Again such warm greetings. I hadn't seen their house for 8 years, but ...

One night there was a circus on in the big field adjacent to the campsite, so the kids got to go to their first circus ( quite a small outfit, all in ...

Had a relatively good sleep for me. However deathly tired all day. Managed to wash my hair and then we were off to Roos house by 9:30. Aunty Hennie bought her flowers on the way. It took 1 1/2 hours, including going very fast on the motorway. I didn't know Roos lived so far away. Hennie has been doing this trip 2x a week for 4 years now. A beautiful warm day. Roos' house was in a pretty cul de sac. Big hug from Roos. Her 3 ...
