Holiday in a holiday with mom
This morning we woke up around 9:00.. Had a shower.. Breakfast.. And packed our bags... And went in the car for our 190km drive from Oldenzaal to Greetsiel. This is an very easy drive as 117km of the 190km is on the German Autobahn (31).

After waking up around 9:00.. We went for a beautiful breakfast in our hotel.. and we went for a walk into Greetsiel.. We wanted to do a boat tour on the canals.. After asking and walking a bit, we found a 1 hour tour.. So we did that tour.. It was from 11:00 till 12:00.. This was a nice tour. We could see the old wind mills from the waterside, and …

Around 9:15 we woke up, and had shower and went for breakfast... The German guests congratulated us and asked how it feels.. They already have won 3 world titles and know that it has been 32 years for us to be in a final..

Tuesday night, I had the most magical experience. While watching movies all rugged up in the couch the first snow of winter fell. Hanging my head out the window and catching the snowflakes (that didn't settle) was wonderful, until I got a snowball thrown at me...indoors.

The history of Europe has me intrigued also. Most of the buildings surrounding me were built before Australia was even colonised. We also visited Bourtange, a city that originally separated the main road from Groningen to Germany, where I saw my first Dutch windmill!
